At The Crossroads presents a premier transitional program for struggling young men, providing help, therapy, and educational programs to assist men to effectively transition into adulthood.
Sometimes, the process of emerging from the teenage years extends beyond the teenage years, requiring a transitional living program for struggling young men. At The Crossroads is dedicated to building therapeutic relationships with our clients, thus dignifying and validating them through the struggle to emerge.
In order for struggling young men to emerge from the transition they must be empowered, built up, and given the message "you have what it takes" At the same time, for struggling young men to succeed they must do all the work themselves. This understanding of struggling young men is what sets us apart from all other young adult transitional programs.
We dignify our clients allowing them to struggle and therefore grow. We don't "rescue" or "bail out" students out. It is time that they get through the struggle on their own, receiving therapeutic guidance, coaching, and support from our staff.
By focusing on building a respectful therapeutic relationship we are able to effectively connect with the twenty-something young man. We work exclusively with the generation of troubled young men who have yet to establish their independence through self-sufficiency.
"I learned how to reach new potentials I never would have dreamed of on my own." Jeff - 21 year old former ATC Client
At The Crossroads is a residential transitional living program for men and women, ages 18-26. Our model combines clinical treatment, emotional intelligence development, recovery & aftercare, education, vocation training, specialized therapeutic services, and life skills development. We do this in a caring and supportive environment that enhances self-discovery and independence.
With guidance from professionally trained life coaches, substance abuse treatment counselors, educators, and licensed therapists; clients find their emotional "grounding" and gain the practical life skills necessary to succeed.
At The Crossroads, our clients have the opportunity to re-discover healthy relationships, follow through on their educational goals, and rebuild the foundation needed to achieve their self-reliant objectives and transition into independent living.
