Autism Spectrum Disorder Programs for Young Adults | Men & Women

At The Crossroads residential programs work with young men and young women who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Parents of young adults with ASD look to At The Crossroads for residential therapeutic support to assist in the development of independent life skills.

Young adults with autism spectrum disorder, also called ASD, often struggle with social and communication problems. The social communication demands of young adults (at college and work), especially for a young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder, can be a significant obstacle to achieving personal academic and vocational goals.

At The Crossroads provides therapeutic support for young adults from ages 18 to 26 in developing important life and communication skills necessary for academic, career, and relational success.

ATC provides group therapy and group discussions regarding social development and communication skills. Our goal is to assist students in the development of problem-solve techniques to improve interpersonal interaction in social, academic, and employment settings. ATC Life Coaches provide individual mentorship to our students helping them to develop skills in a variety of social activities.

“Starting out in the program I had few responsibilities, but as I got a job and worked harder, I started paying my own bills. It became really gratifying to know I could budget my money, work hard at a job, and accomplish the things I have.” -Miles (Former Student).
